Board of Directors

Gordie Krogh

Executive Director

Gordie has a BA in Christian Counseling that has allowed him to serve in both counseling training & lay ministry. He has a passion to see youth embrace a personal relationship with Christ that led to many years of youth ministry. Weekly meetings, weekend retreats and summer mission trips provided an opportunity to unconditionally love young people in a challenging season of life. Gordie has served in a lay pastoral role and in music ministry. Gordie’s love for Jesus Christ and his personal understanding of unconditional love has led him to this ministry.

Helen Barrata

Director

Helen Baratta is married to her college sweetheart, Vince Baratta and they have two grown sons, Alex and Davis. Helen first met Jenn through First Place 4 Health where they both served as Networking Leaders. Helen is maintaining a weight loss of over 100 pounds and attributes her transformation to the First Place 4 Health program because of its biblical approach to health management. Physical, mental, emotional and spiritual transformation occurs as we rely on the Holy Spirit in all aspects of our life. Helen serves as the Director of Development for First Place 4 Health. Helen believes that Jesus calls us to embrace everyone with grace and mercy as we are called to love others. As Christians we are to hold each other accountable to the scripture’s sound doctrine as we strive to live a Christ honoring life.
